Travelling from Oxford? Register interest in a shared journey and we'll try to match you with other passengers travelling in the same direction.
Spires Share is a pre booked shared private hire service operated by Spires Taxis. It is not a bus, coach or scheduled public transport service. We only operate a journey when there is enough compatible demand and Spires Taxis confirms it.
How Spires Share works
Interest means you would like to travel approximately on that route, date and time. A journey means Spires Taxis has proposed an exact departure, route, fare and drop off.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. The vehicle leaves at the stated departure time. A short grace period of up to five minutes may be possible at the driver's discretion, but this is not guaranteed. Passengers should not rely on this.
Upcoming Share journeys
Share the journey with a small group travelling to the same event. Maximum five passengers. More space and fewer passengers than a coach. Share the cost of private hire.

You can view this board without signing in. Names, contact details, booking IDs, postcodes, flight numbers and exact intended destinations are not shown. Sign in is required to join or to request a new shared journey.
Proposed and published journeys
Oxford to Heathrow Terminal 3
The first Spires Share pilot remains Oxford to Heathrow Terminal 3 in a Mercedes Vito. The usual model is five passengers at £35 each. If only four passengers are ready, Spires Taxis may offer a four passenger option of £43.75 each. That option is never applied automatically.
The shared drop off is Terminal 3. If your flight leaves from Terminal 2, Terminal 4 or Terminal 5, you make your own way from Terminal 3. See the Heathrow terminal transfer guide.
Register or manage your place
Sign in to your Spires Taxis customer account to request a shared journey, join interest, accept a proposed journey, pay, join a waitlist or manage your own reservation.
Registering interest does not confirm your journey and no payment is taken at this stage. This is not the same as booking a private taxi.
