A private car for your group, starting in Oxford, with stops you agree in advance. This is private hire with waiting time, not a sightseeing commentary. Guide price from £200, confirmed when you book.
Private driver, not a guided tour
We provide the vehicle and the driver. We are not qualified tour guides, we do not sell attraction tickets, and we do not run a fixed daily coach loop. You tell us which villages you want, roughly how long you want to walk around, and whether you need to be back in Oxford for a particular time.
That distinction matters. If you want historical commentary, book a specialist guide separately. If you want your own car, your own timetable, and someone waiting while you look at the high street, that is this service.
Spires Taxis is based in Oxford. We do not have offices in the Cotswolds. The day starts from your hotel, college, or home address in Oxford unless we have quoted a different pickup.

Cotswolds tour hire is listed from £200 on the rates page, alongside half day (£150) and full day (£280) figures. Your hours and route set the confirmed fare.

These are examples, not a package we insist on. Mix them, skip them, or name somewhere else when you book.
How the day is built
Send three or four places and a finish time. We will say if that is realistic in the hours you have. Extra stops on a quoted day hire need to be agreed so the timing still works. We do not hold restaurant tables or attraction entry.
Cars, hours and coming back
Standard Car is comfortable for up to four. Families or friends who want to sit together without splitting across two vehicles should book the 8 Seater.
If you only need a one-way drop to a single village, say so. That is quoted as a point-to-point journey, not the tour rate. Visitors staying in Oxford often want the round trip so they are not hunting for a return taxi in a village at 5pm.
